We were listening to the Johnny Cash version of cowboy lament "The Streets of Laredo" the other day.
Beat the drum slowly
Play the fife lowly
Play the dead march

Take me to the green valley

I'm a young cowboy

Marisol said, "Lowly Worm is helping that sad cowboy."

Easy listening

Though I look like Kurt Cobain in this picture, my current favorite song is Arcade Fire's "Power Out". Popular speculation is that it is because there is so much percussion in it, as well as a violin, which my mother plays.
